Jeffrey Ryan – Putting People First

The general impression that we get from the legal system is that it is a cold machine, operating independently of human emotion and desires. While this is largely true, that is because the system was designed this way. It was designed to be impartial and take into account only the relevant facts and information necessary to dig at the heart of what is true and fair in any given situation. Of course, this explanation is a gross oversimplification but if we consider this as the underlying motivation of all court proceedings, then we can factor into the equation one of the most powerful tools of any attorney, their humanity. What I mean by this is simple: attorneys are people first and foremost. The best attorneys are those who focus on providing the best representation for their clients, rather than just focusing on the outcome of their cases.

For Jeffrey Ryan, solicitor, connecting with people is the heart of being a lawyer. He has built his practice, reputation, and career on dealing with people rather than court cases. His fellow attorneys, and even opposition, have great things to say about hi.  “Jeff is a very strong advocate. I met him as opposing counsel on a case several years ago in which he served his client extremely well. I was so impressed with his skills that I asked him to be my co-counsel in a different lawsuit a few years later”, said fellow attorney Mark S. Adams.  What’s more impressive is what his clients have to say about him however.

“Jeff stood beside me, shoulder to shoulder, during a difficult and protracted litigation… But above all, Jeff was honest with me during the entire process. Jeff is a first-rate person and trial lawyer." Each of his clients not only speaks to his skills as an attorney, but also to his personality and sense of character. This is a common theme in his practices and even he admits that he has a proclivity for standing up “for the little guy”.

His services including and expertise are in the areas of business litigation, employment litigation, trade secret and property litigation, insurance and bad faith litigation, and the negotiation of excellent severance packages for executives.  And in 2016, the Consumer Attorneys of California announced that Jeffrey Ryan was nominated as a finalist in the 2016 CAOC Awards in the Consumer Attorney of the Year category.
